I clean and repair reels as my part-time gig. It helps keep the lights on and doesn't interfere with my teaching or fishing. Besides, it's a fun way to spend non-fishing time. I charge $25 to clean most freshwater and inshore reels. Bigger offshore models are more. Repairs are priced by the job and I always quote before fixing anything.
